MUSEUM SITE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING

Museum Site Educational Programming

At Historic Arkansas, our educational resources begin with the museum site experience. There is no better way to learn about our state's history than to touch, smell, taste and live it, just like those who lived here in earlier times. Our on-site activities include:

  • Guided tours of the museum's 19th-century historic homes, complete with a living history performance.

  • Our popular Log House Program, offering a fun-filled morning of early 19th-century activity, such as churning butter and spinning wool.

  • Our museum center offers countless opportunities for exciting educational visits. Plan to bring your group to experience our Hands-On History Room, Living History Theater, Arkansas Made exhibits and the Children's Gallery. Be sure to call for reservations at 501-324-9351.

Reservations are required for many of our organized education programs. Call 324-9351 or email us to make reservations or request more information.
